This was a breakthrough painting. I had found myself in the middle of the uglies: clashing colors, no cohesion, yikes. It was godawful. What does one do with red and green? I pulled on a pair of latex gloves and went at it with my fingers. I was in a mad zone. It was such a high. I adore Tim Burton, and Mars Attacks is on my Top Ten favorite movies list.
